Indian Summers
Our new collection tries to capture the essence of sultry, sweltering Indian summers punctuated with glasses of chilled aam panna, and slices of sweet mangoes under the shades of the banyan trees, dips in the cool pond before standing on toasty terraces lined with vintage handicrafts, while a lazy wind blows through.
As is our ethos, all of our products are 100% natural fabrics handmade by indigenous artisans.

What do we do?
At Gilded Bengal, we pride ourselves on curating a unique selection of small batch fabrics, interior design products, and lifestyle items sourced directly from indigenous craftspeople in India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, Mexico and Peru.
Why small batch?
We collaborate closely with artisans to bring their exquisite creations to the UK market. Handicrafts by nature cannot be mass-produced because each piece is painstakingly created by individual craftspeople in small batches. Hence, the pieces we source or sell are all limited edition. Once sold out, these pieces are not made available unless commissioned. This also helps us produce bespoke designs and maintain exclusivity.
